Regular Season Round 6: KoGas - Anyang 80-91

No shocking result in a game when sixth rankedAnyang (4-3) beat bottom-ranked KoGas (1-5) in Inchon 91-80 on Sunday. Anyang dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to KoGas ' 38. American power forward Darryl Monroe (202-1986, college: GMU) notched a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Sung-Won Choi (180-1995) supported him with 20 points. Five Anyang players scored in double figures. Even 26 points and 5 rebounds by Canadian Andrew Nicholson (206-1989, college: St.Bonaventure) did not help to save the game for KoGas . The former international forward Dae-Heon Lee (198-1992) added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Mobis Phoebus and LG Sakers. KoGas lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with five games lost.
