Very expected game in Kashiwa where 10th ranked Hitachi Cougars (1-5) were defeated by top-ranked Eneos S. (6-0) 97-81 on Sunday. Eneos S. dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Hitachi Cougars' 34. They outrebounded Hitachi Cougars 38-27 including 26 on the defensive glass. The former international power forward Ramu Tokashiki (193-1991) had a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Saori Miyazaki (167-1995) chipped in 12 points and 9 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was Honoka Morioka (172-2004) with 17 points and 5 assists and swingman Shirashi Ikuri (172-1994) scored 13 points.
