Regular Season Round 3: Wonju DB - KCC Egis 101-90

Wonju DB defeated KCC Egis at home 101-90. Wonju DB looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Wonju DB made 7 blocks. It was a good game for American power forward Dedric Lawson (206-1997, college: Kansas) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 38 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. The former international forward SangJae Kang (202-1994) contributed with 20 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. American Alize Johnson (206-1996, college: Missouri St.) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Ung Heo (183-1993) added 19 points in the effort for KCC Egis. Five KCC Egis players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KCC Egis will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Wonju DB will try to continue on its current victory against Suwon KT in Busan.
