Heat outrebounded Warriors 47-35 including a 40-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Warriors' players. American swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. The other American import forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Heat players scored in double figures. American guard Sameen Swint (193-1995, college: GBC) replied with 25 points and 7 rebounds and the former international Justin Young (193-1993) added 10 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Warriors. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
