Second Stage Round 5: Devil Rays - SWU 85-57

The biggest surprise took place in where host Devil Rays (5-0) crushed league's leader SWU (4-1) 85-57 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of SWU. It was a key game for the top position in the league. They outrebounded SWU 60-47 including 22 on the offensive glass. Devil Rays looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was Tew Fra who had a double-double by scoring 20 points and 21 rebounds. The former international Toby Sathitsumpan (182-2001) chipped in 23 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Devil Rays' coach S. Premprapan felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Cholasit Kitbumroong (-2000) produced 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and Ukrainian swingman Sergii Pryimak (204-1996, agency: BIG) added 6 points and 14 rebounds respectively for the guests. Devil Rays have an impressive series of five victories in a row. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader. SWU at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Devil Rays.
