Top-ranked Devil Rays blasted bottom-ranked Wave (0-4) in 115-74 keeping the perfect record after 4 rounds. Wave is still unable to win any game. Devil Rays forced 26 Wave turnovers and outrebounded them 56-43 including 19 on the offensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of British forward Joe Mvuezolo (197-1996, college: Montana St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists and American guard Jose Nouchanthavong (187, college: S.Maine) who added 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Nouchanthavong is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five Devil Rays players scored in double figures. At the losing side British center Morakinyo Williams (209-1988, college: Citadel) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 11 rebounds and American center Raymond Miller (204-1988, college: CS Fullerton, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Devil Rays have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion (4-0) keeps a position of league leader, which they share with SWU. Newly promoted Wave still closes the standings with four games lost. They share the position with T-REX. Devil Rays will play against league's leader SWU in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Wave will play against T-REX (#5) in Nakhon Ratchasima and hopes to get finally their first victory.
