Regular Season Round 15: Warriors - Dragons 91-82

Bottom-ranked Dragons (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 91-82 loss to fourth ranked Warriors (5-5) in Hanoi on Saturday evening. They dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Dragons' 24. They outrebounded Dragons 49-27 including a 21-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward John Fields (205-1988, college: Tennessee, agency: Octagon Europe) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points and 22 rebounds. Guard Sameen Swint (193-1995, college: GBC) chipped in a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds. Warriors' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was point guard Jermaine Marrow (183-1997, college: Hampton) who recorded a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and JR Holder (198-1994, college: Jacksonville) added 34 points (!!!) respectively. Warriors maintains fourth place with 5-5 record. Dragons at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost. Warriors are looking forward to face Wings (#5) in Ho Chi Minh in the next round. Dragons will have a break next round.
