Regular Season Round 10: Catfish - Saigon Heat 83-89

VBA top team - Heat (6-0) added another victory to their record. This time they beat fifth ranked Catfish (2-4) in Can Tho 89-83. Heat players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. American players dominated the game. Swingman Kentrell Barkley (195-1996, college: ECU, agency: Haylett Sports) had a double-double by scoring 18 points, 23 rebounds and 9 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward Hassan Thomas (203-1996, college: Emporia St.) chipped in 34 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side center DeAngelo Hamilton (203-1990, college: WSU) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 19 rebounds and guard Brachon Griffin (185-1992, college: ECSU) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points, 6 rebounds and 11 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Heat have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 6-0 record. Catfish at the other side keeps the fifth place with four games lost. They share the position with City Wings.
