Regular Season Round 10: Dolphins - Dragons 88-77

Bottom-ranked Dragons is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to second ranked Dolphins (4-2) 88-77 on Wednesday evening. Dolphins looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American guard Madarious Gibbs (185-1993, college: Texas Southern) notched a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and the other American import forward Robert Sampson (203-1992, college: Georgia Tech) supported him with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Sampson is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Dolphins players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 33 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 4 assists by American point guard Jermaine Marrow (183-1997, college: Hampton) did not help to save the game for Dragons. Ukrainian forward Yevgen Sakhniuk (201-1995, college: Jefferson) added 11 points and 19 rebounds for lost side. Dragons' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Dolphins maintains second position with 4-2 record having just two points less than leader Saigon Heat, which they share with Buffaloes. Loser Dragons still closes the standings with six games lost.
