Regular Season Round 51: WBS - Pacific Caesar 80-84

There was a minor upset in Jakarta where 13th ranked WBS (8-20) was defeated by fifteenth ranked Pacific Caesar (6-24) 84-80. Pacific Caesar outrebounded WBS 44-33 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. It was an exceptional evening for British center Morakinyo Williams (209-1988, college: Citadel) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Aven Pratama (-2004) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Rio Disi (185-1992) came up with 13 points, 5 assists and 5 steals and the former international Mei Joni (188-1989) added 10 points and 4 assists respectively for WBS in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. WBS's coach Nedas Pacevicius tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pacific Caesar maintains fifteenth place with 6-24 record. WBS lost their eleventh game in a row. They keep the thirteenth position with 20 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
