An interesting game for Satria Muda (26-2) which played road game in Surabaya against 4th ranked Dewa United (18-10). First ranked Satria Muda managed to get a 10-point victory 78-68. Satria Muda forced 19 Dewa United turnovers. American forward Elijah Foster (197-1996, college: Nevada) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. The other American import forward Rick Jackson (206-1989, college: Syracuse) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Foster is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American Anthony Johnson (203-1988, college: Fairfield) replied with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Kaleb Gemilang (184-1991) added 9 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Dewa United. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion maintains first position with 26-2 record. Dewa United at the other side keeps the fourth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Rans Pik. Satria Muda are looking forward to face Bumi Borneo (#7) in Pontianak in the next round where they are favorite. Dewa United will have a break next round.
