Finals Game 5: Dynamo - Al Riyadi 71-77

Al Riyadi clinched LBL title. They overcame Dynamo in Game 5 of the championship series to lift the trophy. The guests started the game with a very strong first quarter 29-19. But Dynamo won third quarter 20-15. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Al Riyadi made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. American guard Kevin Murphy (197-1990, college: Tenn Tech) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international guard Wael Arakji (194-1994) contributed with 20 points and 4 assists for the winners. Four Al Riyadi players scored in double figures. American guard Zach Lofton (193-1992, college: NM State, agency: Slash Sports) answered with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and the former international point guard Jad Khalil (186-1996) added 13 points in the effort for Dynamo.
