Strangely Al Sadd outrebounded Al Shamal 53-41 including 22 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 41 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Fadi Abilmona (178-1986) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. American guard Sindou Diallo (194-2000, college: Montana Tech) helped adding 20 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The best for the losing side was American power forward Clinton Chapman (208-1989, college: Texas, agency: Diamond Sports) with a triple-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists and American-German forward Waverly Austin (211-1991, college: Oregon, agency: Diamond Sports) produced a triple-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds and 13 assists. Four Al Sadd players scored in double figures.
