Regular Season Round 36: Satria Muda - Rans Pik 83-75

IBL top team - Satria Muda (18-1) added another victory to their record on Wednesday. This time they beat sixth ranked Rans Pik (13-7) in Jakarta 83-75. Satria Muda forced 20 Rans Pik turnovers. The winners were led by the former international Arki Wisnu (187-1988) who scored that evening 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Widyanta-Putra Teja (180-1997) supported him with 14 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Satria Muda players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 14 points, 15 rebounds and 5 assists by Jamaican-American Akeem Scott (180-1983, college: High Point) did not help to save the game for Rans Pik. David Nuban (186-1998) added 17 points. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Satria Muda have an impressive seven-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 18-1 record. Loser Rans Pik keeps the sixth place with seven games lost. Satria Muda will meet Bali Utd. (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rans Pik will play against WBS (#9) and hope to secure a win.
