Regular Season Round 13: Al Khor - Al Ahli 60-72

No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Al Ahli (7-8) defeated on the road bottom-ranked Al Khor (1-14) 72-60 on Wednesday. Al Ahli looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. International forward Ndoye Seydou (205-1999) stepped up with a triple-double by scoring 21 points, 13 rebounds, 13 assists and 7 steals (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners and American-Nigerian forward Stephen Ugochukwu (201-1996, college: McNeese St.) chipped in 15 points and 4 assists. Ugochukwu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Al Ahli players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Djibrirou Dioum (199-1999) responded with a triple-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists and Swedish point guard Rami Ghanem (185-1993, college: Keyano) scored 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Al Ahli. They maintain fifth place with 7-8 record. Al Khor lost their fourteenth game in a row. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost. Al Ahli's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Doha to the arena Al Rayyan.
