Semi-Finals Game 3: Saitama - Shizuoka 81-86

Shizuoka secure B3 League Finals appearance. Shizuoka made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. 27 personal fouls committed by Saitama helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was Bahamas forward Tavario Miller (203-1994, college: Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American center Kenny Lawson (207-1988, college: Creighton) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). Miller is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Ryan Watkins (206-1991, college: Boise St., agency: Slash Sports) who recorded a double-double by scoring 18 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import Grant Sitton (206-1993, college: Victoria) added 21 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Five Shizuoka and four Saitama players scored in double figures. Saitama's coach Shugaku Izumi tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
