Regular Season Round 32: Kings - Lioneers 103-91

PLeague+ top team - Kings (26-11) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat sixth ranked Lioneers (12-24) in Taipei 103-91. Kings looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists. The winners were led by American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) who scored that evening 23 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and American-British center Byron Mullens (213-1989, college: Ohio St.) supported him with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Kings players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 21 points, 17 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international power forward Will Artino (211-1992, college: Creighton) did not help to save the game for Lioneers. Canadian forward Anthony Bennett (203-1993, college: UNLV) added 27 points and 13 rebounds for Kings. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kings maintains first position with 26-11 record. Lioneers lost sixth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 24 games lost. Kings will again meet bottom-ranked Lioneers (#6) in the next round where they are favorite. Lioneers will play against Pilots and hope to secure a win.
