Regular Season Round 29: Yulon Luxgen - Changhua 67-85

The most crucial game of the last round was another loss of top-ranked Yulon Luxgen (18-11) against fourth ranked Changhua on Saturday night. Changhua were defeated by fourth ranked Changhua (10-19) 85-67. Changhua outrebounded Yulon Luxgen 52-26 including a 16-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 22 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and forward En-Lin Chu (192-1997) chipped in 11 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Changhua players scored in double figures. The former international Bamba Sarr (200-1997) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 11 rebounds and guard Pin-Chuan Chen (180-1998) scored 11 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted Changhua maintains fourth place with 10-19 record. Yulon Luxgen at the other side still keeps top position with 11 games lost. Changhua are looking forward to face higher ranked Taiwan Beer (#3) in Taipei in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Yulon Luxgen will play against the league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
