The best player for the winners was American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-1997, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field). Point guard Toshiki Yokogawa (177-1995) chipped in 28 points. Iwate's coach Yukinori Suzuki felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was Guamanian-American guard Earnest Ross (198-1991, college: Missouri, agency: Haylett Sports) who recorded 14 points and 9 rebounds and point guard Hajime Imabayashi (184-1999) added 18 points respectively.
