An exciting game was when First ranked Yulon Luxgen faced second-best Bank of Taiwan. Yulon Luxgen (18-9) smashed Bank of Taiwan (15-12) 86-54. They outrebounded Bank of Taiwan 44-30 including a 38-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-1986, college: UAB) who led his team to a victory with 32 points and 9 rebounds. The former international Bamba Sarr (200-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds for the winners. Forward Hsiang-Wei Pan (190-1994) answered with 10 points and swingman You-Hsu Chen (195-1990) added 11 points in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Yulon Luxgen maintains first place with 18-9 record. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the second position with 12 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against Taiwan Beer (#3) in Taipei in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Bank of Taiwan will play on the road against Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
