Regular Season Round 56: Kyoto H. - Shimane SM 71-79
Date: April 22, 2023
Very predictable result when first ranked Shimane SM (45-10) beat on the road 7th ranked Kyoto H. (21-34) 79-71 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Perrin Buford (198-1994, college: MTSU, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording 20 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and Australian Nick Kay (206-1992, college: MSU Denver) who added 21 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. American forward Jarrod Uthoff (203-1993, college: Iowa) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds and Mali power forward Cheick Diallo (206-1996, college: Kansas) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds. Kyoto H.'s coach Roy Rana rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Shimane SM have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 45-10 record. Loser Kyoto H. dropped to the sixth place with 34 games lost. They share the position with FE Nagoya. Shimane SM will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Kyoto H. will play again against the league's leader Shimane SM (#1) and hope to secure a win.
