An exciting game was when Third ranked Taiwan Beer faced second-best Bank of Taiwan. Taiwan Beer (10-14) defeated Bank of Taiwan (14-10) 86-80. Taiwan Beer made 30-of-38 charity shots (78.9 percent) during the game. Bank of Taiwan was plagued by 30 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for Nigerian forward Gabriel Humphery (195-1997) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 13 rebounds. American Tavarion Nix (201-1992, college: Midwestern St.) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Taiwan Beer players scored in double figures. American Max Mahoney (203-1998, college: Boston U.) replied with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 15 rebounds and swingman You-Hsu Chen (195-1990) added 17 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Bank of Taiwan. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Taiwan Beer maintains third position with 10-14 record having six points less than leader Yulon Luxgen. Bank of Taiwan at the other side keeps the second place with ten games lost.
