Semi-Finals Game 2: LG Sakers - Seoul Knights 91-92
Date: April 16, 2023
LG Sakers were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) notched a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds to lead the effort and the former international forward Il-Young Heo (197-1985) supported him with 24 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Even a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds by American forward Reggie Perry (208-2000, college: MSU) did not help to save the game for LG Sakers. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) added 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line) for the hosts. LG Sakers' coach Sung-Won Cho rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.
