No shocking result in a game when second ranked Tobol (16-14) beat on the road bottom-ranked Aktobe (6-24) 88-81 on Tuesday. Tobol dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Aktobe's 34. They outrebounded Aktobe 48-22 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tobol looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international forward Anton Bykov (200-1989) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 18 rebounds (on 15-of-19 shooting from the field). The former international swingman Pavel Ilyin (194-1992) accounted for 10 points, 10 rebounds and 11 assists for the winning side. Forward Vassiliy Petrishinets (198-1989) came up with 25 points and 6 assists and forward Konstantin Neff (198-1997) added 19 points and 7 assists respectively for Aktobe in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Tobol went down to third position due to points difference. Aktobe lost fifteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 24 lost games.
