Regular Season Round 22: Changhua - Bank of Taiwan 71-100

An interesting game for Bank of Taiwan (14-8) which played against 4th ranked Changhua (7-15). Second ranked Bank of Taiwan had an easy win 100-71. Bank of Taiwan dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Changhua's 34. Bank of Taiwan forced 19 Changhua turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Changhua's players. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman You-Hsu Chen (195-1990) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists. American Max Mahoney (203-1998, college: Boston U.) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Julian Boyd (203-1990, college: LIU Brooklyn) replied with 15 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Yen-Tsung Shih (193-1992) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Changhua. Five Bank of Taiwan and four Changhua players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bank of Taiwan keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Yulon Luxgen. Newly promoted Changhua stay at the bottom place with 15 games lost. Bank of Taiwan is looking forward to face league's leader Yulon Luxgen in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Changhua will play against Taiwan Beer in Taipei and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
