An interesting game for Yulon Luxgen (14-8) which played against 3rd ranked Taiwan Beer (9-13). First ranked Yulon Luxgen managed to get a 6-point victory 76-70. Yulon Luxgen players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists. American power forward Walter Sharpe (206-1986, college: UAB) had a triple-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Chi-Ying Wu (180-1998) chipped in 27 points during the contest. Four Yulon Luxgen players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Tzu-Kang Wang (183-1993) responded with 28 points and 6 rebounds and American Tavarion Nix (201-1992, college: Midwestern St.) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 18 rebounds and 5 assists. Taiwan Beer's coach Chun-San Chou rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Yulon Luxgen have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 14-8 record, which they share with Bank of Taiwan. Taiwan Beer lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 13 games lost. Yulon Luxgen will play against league's second-placed Bank of Taiwan in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Taiwan Beer will play against Changhua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
