An interesting game took place in Jinjiang where higher ranked Loongs (21-21) were upset on the court of seventeenth ranked Sturgeons (11-29) 93-87 on Wednesday. Sturgeons looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was Australian-South Sudanese center Thon Maker (216-1997) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 18 rebounds. The former international Linjian Chen (197-1993) chipped in 23 points and 6 rebounds. Sturgeons' coach used an eleven-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Kahlil Felder (175-1995, college: Oakland) who recorded 16 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists and 7 steals and Ning Zhang (192-1997) added 19 points and 9 rebounds respectively. Four Loongs players scored in double figures. Sturgeons maintains seventeenth place with 11-29 record. Loongs lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 21 games lost.
