No shocking result in a game when eighth ranked Al Salam (8-14) beat on the road bottom-ranked Al Adalah (3-19) 78-63 on Friday. Al Salam dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Al Adalah's 22. They outrebounded Al Adalah 44-25 including a 35-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Al Salam looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. American forward Nick Stover (198-1993, college: USA) notched a double-double by scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists to lead the effort and the other American import center Anthony McClain (211-1988, college: Cincinnati) supported him with 23 points and 16 rebounds. Stover is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Even 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists by Tunisian swingman Islem Elajmi (196-1991) did not help to save the game for Al Adalah. The former international guard Faisal Aldawsari (180-1990) added 19 points for lost side. Four Al Adalah players scored in double figures. Al Salam maintains eighth position with 8-14 record. Al Adalah lost thirteenth consecutive game. Newly promoted team stay dead last with 19 lost games.
