Very significant was Kings' (#1, 22-7) victory against 3rd placed Pilots (15-14) 89-81. Kings dominated down low during the game scoring 58 of its points in the paint compared to Pilots' 30 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Kings forced 22 Pilots turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) who scored 25 points, 9 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals. The former international power forward Quincy Davis (203-1983, college: Tulane) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds.
