B3 League top team - Iwate (41-7) managed to deliver another win on Sunday. This time they beat fifteenth ranked Tachikawa (12-36) 74-64. American forward Kristian Doolittle (201-1997, college: Oklahoma, agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 18 points and 9 rebounds. Beninese power forward Muusa Dama (207-1996, college: EIU, agency: Blacktop Management) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Iwate players scored in double figures. American forward Tristin Walley (201-1996, college: Arkansas St., agency: One Motive Sports) answered with 16 points and 9 rebounds and swingman Kota Akiyama (188-1996) added 18 points in the effort for Tachikawa. Tachikawa's coach Takeo Mabashi rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Iwate maintains first place with 41-7 record. Tachikawa lost sixth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fifteenth position with 36 games lost. Iwate are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Shinagawa (#16) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them.
