An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Changwon. Third ranked Seoul Knights faced their biggest opponent LG Sakers. Guests from Seoul (34-19) defeated host LG Sakers (35-18) 74-69. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LG Sakers. Worth to mention a great performance of American center Jameel Warney (203-1994, college: Stony Brook) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds. The former international guard Sunh-Yung Kim (187-1988) contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) replied with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) added 13 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for LG Sakers. LG Sakers' coach Sung-Won Cho tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Seoul Knights have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains third position with 34-19 record having just two points less than leader Anyang. LG Sakers at the other side keep the second place with 18 games lost. Seoul Knights will play against Wonju DB (#7) at home in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Mobis Phoebus (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
