Regular Season Round 46: Tokyo Utd - Veertien Mie 85-67

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Tokyo Utd (29-19) defeated at home 10th ranked Veertien Mie (17-31) 85-67 on Friday. American swingman Michael Craig (196-1991, college: Southern Miss) had a triple-double by scoring 35 points (!!!), 15 rebounds and 10 assists to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Takeshi Shingo (175-1995) chipped in 12 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Josh Martin (201-1995, college: Santa Clara) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points and 13 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Tucker Haymond (198-1994, college: W.Michigan) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tokyo Utd have an impressive five-game winning streak. Newly promoted Tokyo Utd maintains sixth position with 29-19 record. Veertien Mie at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the tenth place with 31 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
