Regular Season Round 27: Dreamers - Kings 92-79

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Kings (22-7) against fourth ranked Dreamers on Friday night. Dreamers were defeated by fourth ranked Dreamers (14-16) 92-79. Dreamers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Kings' 36. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Chris McCullough (208-1995, college: Syracuse) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center Brandon Gilbeck (213-1996, college: W.Illinois) helped adding 21 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was American swingman Kenny Manigault (195-1991, college: Pikeville) with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 21 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international power forward Quincy Davis (203-1983, college: Tulane) produced a double-double by scoring 11 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dreamers have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 14-16 record. Kings at the other side still keep top position with seven games lost. Dreamers are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Steelers (#6) in Kaohsiung in the next round. Kings will play at home against Lioneers (#5) and are hoping to win this game.
