Very expected game when 12th ranked Tokyo HT (15-33) was defeated at home by second ranked Saitama (40-8) 87-83 on Friday. Saitama shot 35 for 47 from the free-throw line, while Tokyo HT only scored fifteen points from the stripe. American Grant Sitton (206-1993, college: Victoria) scored 26 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Reo Yamazaki (179-1999) chipped in 17 points and 4 assists during the contest.
