Regular Season Round 39: Mobis Phoebus - Anyang 94-89

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Anyang (36-15) in Ulsan on Friday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Mobis Phoebus (32-19) 94-89. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Anyang. They outrebounded Anyang 49-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. Mobis Phoebus looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for American forward Gaige Prim (203-1999, college: Missouri St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds. Filipino guard Rhon Jhay Abarrientos (181-1999) helped adding 18 points and 7 assists. The best for the losing side was American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) with a double-double by scoring 32 points and 14 rebounds and the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Mobis Phoebus and five Anyang players scored in double figures. Anyang's coach Seung-Ki Kim rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Mobis Phoebus have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain fourth place with 32-19 record. Anyang at the other side still keeps top position with 15 games lost. Mobis Phoebus are looking forward to face Goyang (#5) in Daegu in the next round. Anyang will play at home against Wonju DB (#6) and is hoping to win this game.
