Very significant was Taiyuan Textile's (#2, 8-2) victory against 4th ranked Taipower (1-9) 78-58. Taiyuan Textile forced 19 Taipower turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. The former international center Tieh Lin (182-1999) notched a double-double by scoring 16 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international forward Ching Cho (172-1997) supported her with 14 points and 4 assists.
