Very predictable result in Kostanay where second ranked Bars (22-4) beat 10th ranked ChelSU (7-17) 82-66 on Saturday. Bars forced 19 ChelSU turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. The best player for the winners was power forward Maksim Nalogov (198-1994) who had a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Forward Sergey Dyatlik (194-1997) chipped in 16 points and 8 assists. Four Bars players scored in double figures. Guard Dmitriy Luchko (193-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 27 points and 10 rebounds and guard Artem Pedko (191-2000) added 19 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bars maintains second position with 22-4 record having five points less than leader Shymkent. Newly promoted ChelSU keeps the tenth place with 17 games lost. Bars are looking forward to face Gotobeles (#8) in Nur-Sultan in the next round where they are favorite. ChelSU will play at home against Almaty L. and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
