The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Kawasaki BT as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Yokohama BC) loss. Kawasaki BT smashed 3rd ranked Gunma CT in Kanagawa 93-73. Kawasaki BT made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Yokohama BC. Gunma CT at the other side keeps the third place with 18 games lost. Gunma CT will have a break next week, which should allow them to rest in order to get back on the winning path. Kawasaki BT will try to continue on its current victory against third ranked Gunma CT at home.
