Regular Season Round 22: Byblos - Homentmen 93-99

There was no surprise when 12th ranked Byblos (2-18) were defeated at home by tenth ranked Homentmen (6-13) 99-93 on Saturday. The game was dominated by American players. DaJuan Summers (203-1988, college: Georgetown) had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 19 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Mark Lyons (185-1989, college: Arizona) chipped in 33 points (!!!), 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four Homentmen players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Brandon Parrish (198-1994, college: TCU) responded with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and power forward CJ Aiken (206-1990, college: St.Joseph's, agency: BIG) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 19 rebounds. Homentmen moved-up to ninth place. Byblos lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Homentmen's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Beirut to the arena .
