Date: March 18, 2023
Tenth-ranked Seoul Thunders (13-38) made lots of trouble for second ranked LG Sakers (33-17). The visitors from Changwon managed to secure only one-point victory 77-76. However their fans expected much easier game. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) contributed with 18 points and 5 assists for the winners. American forward Anthony Morse (206-1994, college: Tenn Tech, agency: SLN) answered with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 13 rebounds and the former international forward Jung-Hyun Lee (191-1987) added 15 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Seoul Thunders. Five Seoul Thunders players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. LG Sakers maintains second place with 33-17 record having just three points less than leader Anyang. Seoul Thunders lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 38 lost games. LG Sakers will play against Wonju DB (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Seoul Thunders will play against Mobis Phoebus in Ulsan and hope to get back on the winning track.
