Bottom-ranked Al Ansar managed to get the second consecutive victory. This time they won against eleventh-ranked Al Adalah in Medina 80-73. The winners were led by American center Raymond Miller (204-1988, college: CS Fullerton) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and the other American import power forward Cory Johnson (202-1988, college: Valpo) supported him with 12 points and 16 rebounds. Four Al Ansar players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 24 points, 19 rebounds and 5 assists by Russian forward Andrey Semenov (200-1990, college: JMU) did not help to save the game for Al Adalah. Tunisian swingman Islem Elajmi (196-1991) added 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Al Ansar (3-17) moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Al Adalah and Al Taawoun. Al Adalah lost eleventh consecutive game. Al Ansar will play against higher ranked Al Wehda (#5) in Mecca in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Al Adalah will play on the road against the league's leader Al Ahli (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
