Top ranked Anyang (36-14) recorded its fourteenth loss in Changwon on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by second ranked LG Sakers (33-17) 76-75. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Anyang. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) fired a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) chipped in 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. LG Sakers' coach Sung-Won Cho used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American Omari Spellman (207-1997, college: Villanova) produced a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 rebounds and the former international center Sek-Eun Oh (200-1987) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. LG Sakers maintains second place with 33-17 record having just three points less than leader Anyang. Anyang at the other side still keeps top position with 14 games lost.
