Very significant was GhostHawks' (#2, 14-8) victory against 3rd placed Aquas (13-11) 106-94. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Aquas. GhostHawks made 21-of-26 free shots (80.8 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for American center Robert Upshaw (213-1994, college: Washington) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds. Indian-Canadian center Sim Bhullar (226-1992, college: NM State) helped adding 22 points and 16 rebounds. At the losing side Lithuanian center Mindaugas Kupsas (216-1991, agency: BIG) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 16 rebounds and American-Filipino guard Jason Brickman (183-1991, college: LIU Brooklyn, agency: Interperformances) scored 10 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 5 steals. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Aquas' coach rotated thirteen players in this game, but that didn't help. GhostHawks (14-8) have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain second place having just two points less than leader N.Taipei CTBC. Defending champion Aquas keep the third position with 11 games lost. GhostHawks are looking forward to face Suns (#5) in Taichung in the next round. Aquas will play on the road against Leopards in Taoyuan and are hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
