Second Stage Round 4: Al Riyadi - Al Ahli 92-90

The most exciting game of round 4 in the Premier League took place in Amman. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of their biggest opponent Al Ahli (2-2) to third ranked Al Riyadi (2-2) 92-90 in the game for the second place. Al Riyadi looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international forward Ahmad Obeid (197-1990) who helped to win the game recording 27 points and 8 rebounds and the former international guard Malek Kanaan (182-1993, college: W.Valley JC) who added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side American forward Gerard Tarin (206-1996, college: Nova SE) responded with 29 points and 9 rebounds and the former international guard Amin Abuhawwas (190-1994, college: Mars Hill) scored 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Al Riyadi moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Al Ahli. Al Riyadi's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Amman Orthodox.
