South Korea
Regular Season Round 36: KCC Egis - Seoul Thunders 78-75
Date: March 12, 2023
Not a big story in a game in Jeonju where 10th ranked Seoul Thunders (13-35) were edged by sixth ranked KCC Egis (22-27) 78-75 on Sunday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. KCC Egis made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Guna Ra (203-1989, college: Missouri) who scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. The former international center Seung-Hyun Lee (201-1992) chipped in 18 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Anthony Morse (206-1994, college: Tenn Tech, agency: SLN) who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 15 rebounds and forward Dong-Yeop Lee (194-1994) added 22 points respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. KCC Egis have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain sixth position with 22-27 record. Loser Seoul Thunders stay dead last with 35 lost games. KCC Egis will meet higher ranked Mobis Phoebus (#4) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Seoul Thunders will play against the league's second-placed LG Sakers (#2) and hope to secure a win.
