Regular Season Round 36: Goyang - LG Sakers 92-83

Very important is a road loss of second ranked LG Sakers (32-16) against fifth ranked Goyang (24-23) on Saturday night. Visiting LG Sakers were defeated by Goyang in a tough game in Daegu 83-92. The winners were led by the former international Lee Jung-Hyun (190-1999) who scored that evening 30 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and the former international guard Seonghyen Jeon (190-1991) supported him with 18 points. Even a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) by Egyptian center Assem Marei (206-1992, college: MSU) did not help to save the game for LG Sakers. The former international point guard Jae-Do Lee (180-1991) added 20 points and 5 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Goyang maintains fifth position with 24-23 record. LG Sakers at the other side keep the second place with 16 games lost. Goyang will play against Wonju DB (#8) on the road in the next round. LG Sakers will play against Seoul Thunders (#10) and hope to get back on the winning track.
