Saigon Heat nipped Singapore Slingers to force the decider. Heat shot 22 for 30 from the free-throw line, while Singapore S. only scored four points from the stripe. Strangely Singapore S. outrebounded Heat 51-34 including a 20-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. American players dominated the game. Power forward Jeremy Combs (201-1995, college: Texas Southern) had a double-double by scoring 14 points, 13 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and guard Evan Gilyard II (178-1998, college: UMKC) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Heat players scored in double figures. Center CJ Gettys (213-1994, college: Rutgers, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 20 rebounds and forward Xavier Alexander (196-1988, college: S.Nazarene) scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists.
