Regular Season Round 40: Yokohama BC - Shinshu BW 83-71

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 3rd ranked Shinshu BW's (18-21) road loss to second ranked Yokohama BC (24-15) 71-83 on Wednesday. International guard Yuki Kawamura (169-2001) fired 32 points and 7 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) for the winners. American center Charles Jackson (208-1993, college: Tenn Tech) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds. Yokohama BC's coach Taketo Aoki used an eleven-player rotation saving starting five for next games. The former international guard Yuta Okada (189-1998) produced 17 points and 5 assists and the former international forward Josh Hawkinson (208-1995, college: WSU) added 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four Shinshu BW players scored in double figures. Yokohama BC have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Kawasaki BT. Shinshu BW lost third consecutive game. They keep the third place with 21 games lost. They share the position with Osaka E.. Yokohama BC will meet at home league's leader Kawasaki BT in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shinshu BW will play against Toyama G. and hope to secure a win.
