Regular Season Round 40: Shanan Utd - Kanazawa 84-102
Date: March 4, 2023
We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams in Kanagawa where thirteenth ranked Kanazawa (14-28) won against 12th ranked Shanan Utd (14-28) 102-84 on Saturday. Kanazawa shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Ukrainian forward Oleksandr Antypov (203-1995, agency: BIG) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 13 rebounds and Ukrainian point guard Igor Boyarkin (182-1995, agency: BIG) who added 18 points and 12 assists during the contest. Four Kanazawa players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Kodai Nakano (182-1994) responded with 34 points (!!!) and American forward Chris Olivier (202-1992, college: OK State, agency: Octagon Europe) produced a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 9 assists.
