Regular Season Round 40: Shinagawa - Kagoshima 66-85

Date: March 3, 2023
No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Kagoshima (32-10) smashed on the road bottom-ranked Shinagawa (4-38) 85-66 on Friday. Kagoshima forced 19 Shinagawa turnovers and outrebounded them 41-28 including a 21-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-American forward Michael Fakuade (201-1989, college: UIS) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks and American swingman Anthony Gaines Jr (195-1993, college: LCU) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American forward AJ Bramah (201-1999, college: Nevada) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 10 rebounds and Daiki Uematsu (187-1990) scored 4 points, 6 rebounds and 10 assists. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Kagoshima maintains fourth position with 32-10 record. Shinagawa lost fourth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 38 lost games. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
